Your Queue is Your Day

When you open the Perspecs mobile app, the first thing you'll see is your inspection queue — a prioritized list of today's assignments. Each inspection shows the address, record type, inspection type, and current status. Tap any inspection to see the full detail, including contacts, history, and directions.

Your queue updates in real time. If the agency assigns you a new inspection or changes a priority, you'll see it immediately — no need to refresh or check back later.

Working Offline

The Perspecs mobile app is built offline-first. That means you can view your queue, navigate to job sites, run inspections, take photos, leave comments, and submit results — all without an internet connection. Everything is stored locally on your device and syncs automatically when you reconnect.

This is especially useful for inspectors working in rural areas, basements, or construction sites where cell service is unreliable. You'll never lose work because of a dropped connection.

Completing an Inspection

When you arrive at a job site, tap the inspection to open it. You can update the status to "currently being inspected," add comments about what you observe, attach photos as evidence, and then submit your result — pass, fail, or cancel. The contractor will see the status change in real time on their end.

Navigating Between Sites

The app shows all your assignments on a map view, so you can see the most efficient route through your day. Tap any pin to get turn-by-turn directions. If you're part of multiple agencies, you can switch between them from the sidebar to see assignments across jurisdictions.
